Pinata Making Workshop

Creative Greensboro will welcome visual artist Victoria Mercado-Lues to the Greensboro Residency for Original Works, August 25 through October 2. Throughout her six-week residency, Mercado-Lues will create new work inspired by her coming-of-age experience as a young Mexican-American woman, using cardboard, papier-mache, crochet, fabric, and oil painting.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, learn about Mexican culture and make your own piñata for a special occasion. Cost: $25. Supplies are included in the cost of registration.
