Watercolor Notans Workshop

Creative Greensboro will welcome visual artist Victoria Mercado-Lues to the Greensboro Residency for Original Works, August 25 through October 2. Throughout her six-week residency, Mercado-Lues will create new work inspired by her coming-of-age experience as a young Mexican-American woman, using cardboard, papier-mache, crochet, fabric, and oil painting.

Combine watercolor splatter paint and gradients with the Japanese cut-paper notan technique of light-dark harmony. Cost: $15. Supplies are included with the cost of registration.
