Mandalas and Zentangles at NC Folk Festival

Creative Greensboro will welcome visual artist Victoria Mercado-Lues to the Greensboro Residency for Original Works, August 25 through October 2. Throughout her six-week residency, Mercado-Lues will create new work inspired by her coming-of-age experience as a young Mexican-American woman, using cardboard, papier-mache, crochet, fabric, and oil painting.

Drop by the GROW studio during Folk Fest on Friday, Sept. 18, 6-8 p.m. to make colored pencil mandala and zentangle drawings.
