A 10th-generation North Carolinian, Daniel draws inspiration from N.C. songwriting greats like Bruce Piephoff and David Childers, absorbing the stories, sounds, and soul of the Old North State.

As co-host of The Hometown Holler podcast, Daniel has built a devoted following by celebrating all things North Carolina, connecting audiences across the state and far beyond its borders. What began as a hobby to give voice to the untold stories of local community issues has transformed into a podcast with more than 60 guests and millions of views. Guests have included Josh Stein, Pat McCrory, Roy Cooper, Anita Earls, and numerous journalists.

Daniel studied history at Roanoke College and taught both history and civics classes when he returned to North Carolina.

Whether he’s strumming an original tune or singing an old-time murder ballad, Daniel Ayers sounds like home!

The venue sells beer, wine, spirits, and sodas. FREE parking is available in the lot across the street and in the lot across the street from the main lot, as well as behind the Greensboro Historical Museum.
