

SummerSounds Concert Series: Yacht Rock Radio Band at High Point Lawn Jam
SummerSounds Concert Series is the High Point Arts Council’s 2026 summer outdoor concert series, offering free live music on Friday evenings from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Concerts take place throughout the summer in parks and across the City of High Point, the Town of Jamestown and in Centennial Station Arts Center, making live music accessible and enjoyable for the entire community. This season’s lineup features a diverse mix of musical genres, including reggae, big band, Latin, and jazz.
Get ready to set sail on the smoothest, grooviest party of the year with Yacht Rock Radio Band! This nationally touring sensation delivers the ultimate tribute to the golden era of smooth rock, bringing to life the iconic hits of Toto, Christopher Cross, The Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, and more. Leading the voyage is American Idol standout Carsen Webb, whose soaring vocals and magnetic stage presence captivate audiences from the first note. Joining him is the electrifying Melody Hagar, a dynamic vocalist known for her soulful power and high-energy performances that leave crowds wanting more. Backed by an all-star lineup of professional musicians, Yacht Rock Radio delivers impeccable musicianship, rich harmonies, and nonstop energy. Their undeniable chemistry with the audience transforms every performance into an unforgettable celebration complete with smooth grooves, sing-along favorites, and waves of nostalgia.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and relax under the evening sky. Food trucks will be on-site with food and beverages available for purchase; however, outside alcohol is not permitted. At each concert, attendees are invited to donate non-perishable food and household items to support A Simple Gesture, helping residents of Guilford County in need.
