Creative Greensboro will hold auditions for “Bye Bye Birdie,” a musical comedy with Book by Michael Stewart, Music by Charles Strouse, Lyrics by Lee Adams and directed by Todd Fisher, Wesley McCleary and Carrie Plew. Auditions will be held on Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5, from 7-9 pm in the Stephen D Hyers theatre at the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St. Actors ages 12 and older of all experience levels, genders, ethnicities, or racial identities are welcome to register for an audition. Actors should prepare 16 bars of a contemporary Broadway musical to sing for their audition. All actors will be asked to participate in a brief movement audition. Actors are asked not to audition with a song from “Bye, Bye Birdie.” Rehearsals are in the evenings and on weekends as schedules permit. Performances will take place June 25-28.
