Shrek – Carolina Kids Club

When fairy-tale creatures overrun his swamp, a reluctant ogre sets off on a quest with a talkative donkey to rescue a princess — discovering along the way that happily-ever-after doesn’t always look the way storybooks promise.

Packed with humor for kids and clever jokes for adults, Shrek playfully turns classic fairy tales upside down while celebrating self-acceptance, kindness, and the courage to be yourself.

Each family-friendly movie is preceded by live stage entertainment featuring Mad Science and a Musical Petting Zoo presented by the Music Academy of North Carolina, offering a great STEAM learning opportunity outside the classroom.
