Tea & Clay: Designing Functional Teapots Sundays, May 4th - June 8th from 10:00AM - 12:30PM In this 6-week class, Steven Parker will teach basic wheel throwing and the steps it takes to complete a teapot that the student can use. He will also briefly talk about the cultural history of teapots and tea. In the last class, we will have a group tea session to testing pour functionality and for reflection and discussion. Bring pictures of teapots you like or want to mimic. Prior wheel throwing knowledge preferred but not necessary.
