Ceramics I

Cost: $190 TAG members and $210 non-members
This six-week class is designed as an introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Participants will learn how to create a piece of pottery on the wheel. We will begin with cylinders and then expand to functional pieces such as mugs, bowls, and plates. No experience working with clay or the pottery wheel is necessary. Each participant will receive 25 pounds of clay and will have the opportunity to glaze finished pieces. Open studio time is included.
