OnStage & In Bloom—accessible theatre for performers with disabilities

OnStage–Theatre for All puts the spotlight on stories of performers with disabilities. This program provides a safe and accessible environment for individuals with disabilities to express their creativity and grow their performance and social skills. This March our cast will work collaboratively to create an original, heartwarming show that incorporates music, movement, and a variety of theatre skills. Our show entitled “OnStage & In Bloom” will start out with no scripts–just an inspiring theme and an enthusiastic spirit of collaboration. (The title of the show will give you a hint about our theme!) Over the course of the program our participants work with each other as well as acting, musical, and inclusion specialists to develop a totally original show for the community. The final performances promise to bring large doses of joy, laughter, and feel-good warm fuzzies as audiences experience the dreams and passions of the participants come to life on stage.
