Creative Reuse Assemblage

This workshop, will offer a fun and inspiring hands-on entry into the world of found-object, assemblage art. Ideas can come from words, poems, phrases, music, a specific object, a memory, a place, a concept, or an event with a strong meaning.

We will use materials such as: buttons, wire, toys, game pieces, broken jewelry, seashells and other items from nature, beads, fabric pieces, patterned paper, photocopied images, and more.

We will provide tools such as: an X-Acto knife, sharp scissors, brushes, metal rulers, hammers, small nails, pencils, white glue, hot-melt glue gun, glue sticks, gel medium, and acrylic paints

Recommended Ages 13 and up (A parent or guardian must be present to attend)
