Gelli Prints with Mulberry Paper
We will use a “gelli plate” to create a form of mono printing that requires no printing press. We will use leaves or cut paper to create negative spaces on Mulberry, or kozo paper (a translucent paper used in traditional Japanese printmaking). Participants will make five to six 8 1/2” by 11” prints. These can be framed, used for collage, or glued onto almost any surface. General printmaking materials and mulberry paper provided. Bring a notebook and old clothes that you don’t mind getting ink on. $50.00. . Register at https://form.jotform.com/232894335362158
