Fantastic Ekphrastic! A Creative Writing Class with Molly Haile

Have you ever looked closely at a painting and imagined a story to go with the scene in front of you? Welcome to ekphrasis, which is when a writer takes inspiration from a piece of art to create a story, essay, or poem. In this class we’ll look at and discuss examples of ekphrasis before we launch into writing our own. No writing experience needed. Registration is required.
