Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson

Neil deGrasse Tyson returns to Tanger Center on June 9, presenting “This Just In: Latest Discoveries in the Universe,” which draws from within the last two to three years of cosmic discovery — with topics hand-picked for their impact on science and on the public’s fascination with this moving frontier.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is the Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City, as well as a renowned astrophysicist. He is the recipient of twenty-one honorary doctorates and the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal, the highest award given by NASA to a non-government citizen.
