Hand-building Wavy Fluted Drape Bowls

Two parts:
Friday, October 16, 2-5 p.m. for building
Friday, October 23, 2-4 p.m. for glazing

During the first class you will use the slab, hand-building technique to create functional wavy/fluted drape bowl(s). The number of bowls you can construct during the class depends on the size you make them & your skill level.
This will allow you to explore how the physical properties of clay — particularly thickness, size, moisture and pliability — affect the ability of a slab to support and maintain its intended form.

During the second class you will be glazing your bowl(s).
