Land of the Sweets

A Little Nutcracker. A Lot of Magic.

Created especially with young audiences in mind — and for the young at heart — High Point Ballet’s Land of the Sweets captures the wonder of The Nutcracker in a delightful one-hour performance. Follow Clara into a world of Drosselmeyer magic as swirling snowflakes guide her into the Land of the Sweets and all the wonder that awaits.

The magic begins before the curtain rises! Arrive one hour early for the Parade of Characters, when familiar faces from Clara’s dream step into the lobby to greet guests and pose for special holiday photos.

The one-hour format makes Land of the Sweets an ideal introduction to the magic of live theatre for young children, while offering audiences of all ages a charming way to experience this holiday classic.

Whether it’s your first visit to Clara’s world or a tradition you’ve loved for years, come experience the music, artistry, wonder—and Drosselmeyer magic — of The Nutcracker.
