Open Studio with Victoria Mercado Lues

Creative Greensboro will welcome visual artist Victoria Mercado-Lues to the Greensboro Residency for Original Works, August 25 through October 2.

Throughout her six-week residency, Mercado-Lues will create new work inspired by her coming-of-age experience as a young Mexican-American woman, using cardboard, papier-mache, crochet, fabric, and oil painting.

Visit Mercado-Lues in the studio every Tuesday and Thursday at 12-3pm as she creates colorful works about her Mexican-American identity.
