Broadway Our Way: Yess Queen – A Musical Monarchy!

Triad Pride Acting Company (TPAC) is proud to announce its latest production, "Broadway Our Way: Yess Queen – A Musical Monarchy!" This high-energy, interactive musical revue reimagines the rules of royalty and the Great White Way, running from February 20 through March 1, 2026, at the Congregational United Church of Christ.
Set in a glittering "queendom" of show tunes, the production features a cast of talented local performers defying expectations with gender-flipped Broadway classics. The stakes are high: at every performance, the crown is up for grabs. In a unique twist on traditional theatre, each show culminates in a live democratic election, where the audience casts their votes to decide who will ascend the throne as the next King or Queen of the Musical Monarchy.
"This show is about more than just great music; it’s about the joy of self-expression and the power of our community," says the Triad Pride Performing Arts team. "By flipping the script on Broadway’s biggest hits, we’re celebrating our identity and inviting the audience to be an active part of the story."
Accessibility Note: Triad Pride Acting Company is committed to making theatre accessible to everyone. The performance on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, will feature an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter.
