Tea with Clara

The magic of "The Nutcracker" comes to life in a personal way as Greensboro Ballet presents its beloved holiday tradition, "Tea with Clara."

This interactive event is perfect for young ballet lovers and families, with this year’s whimsical theme featuring Nutcrackers of all shapes and sizes, transforming the Renaissance Room of the Carolina Theatre into a sparkling Nutcracker kingdom.

New for 2025! Join Greensboro Ballet for a Saturday morning "Tea with Clara" event which precedes our new early matinee of "The Nutcracker." Of course, as an additional option for guests, they will have their classic afternoon Tea before their traditional Sunday afternoon show.

Come dressed in your holiday best and begin your experience with a special peek backstage, followed by a delightful moment learning Clara’s lullaby dance right on the Nutcracker stage!

Afterward, head to the beautifully decorated Renaissance Room for: *Elegant tea, cocoa, or punch with a delicious array of seasonal treats. *A goody bag for each child, featuring a Nutcracker-themed craft, autograph booklet, and special sponsor gifts. *Photo and autograph opportunities with Clara and many of her friends from the ballet
