O.Henry Live Jazz - Vaughan Penn

6:00-9:00 pm in the O. Henry lobby. Over the years (since January 2015!), O.Henry has become quite a hotbed for live jazz. Enjoy vintage craft cocktails and delightful seasonal Mediterranean tapas while enjoying The O.Henry Trio and an impressive list of rotating vocalists who perform varied styles of jazz in the O.Henry Social Lobby.

Vaughan’s smoky-contralto vocals and songwriter chops are influenced by Etta James, Tina Turner, Koko Taylor and Stevie Nicks.  Two of her original jazz songs – Miss You Most and Don’t Make Me Wait have been featured on NBC’s Go-On and E-Channel’s The Arrangement. A North Carolina singer/songwriter, recording artist/producer, Vaughan’s original music has been featured over 155 times in television shows and movies including Grey’s Anatomy, L-Word, Californication, MTV’s The Hills, Laguna Beach and the Oscar Winning film The Big Short to name a few
