About the Baba Project
"The Baba Project" by @johnkornegay Photography is a profound exploration of Black Fatherhood through photography. Initiated in 2019, the project aims to humanize the image of Black fathers, break stereotypes, and foster understanding. It seeks to create a platform for dialogue, community engagement, and cultural appreciation by capturing intimate moments and narratives.

John Kornegay will be hosting 2 more portrait dates within the African American Atelier on August 17th and September 21st from 1pm-3pm . Father and children portraits are free for those interested in participating in the project.

To help fundraise for all the materials needed for his exhibit, which will be on display in the African American Atelier this fall , John will be providing extremely reduced cost portraits and headshots for individuals and families. Register in bio. Registration isn't mandatory but appreciated to help with preparation.
