“Focus on the Wheel” Summer Sessions – READ DESCRIPTION

Art Alliance presents a series of Summer Teen Workshops. We are looking for enthusiastic artists interested in developing their skills, and connecting with art, ideas, and other young people.

These sessions will present step-by-step instruction on how to center, open, and pull up clay to create bowls, jars, cups and plates. An entire week of instruction on the wheel – students will learn techniques and processes that elevate their work. Students will also glaze their own work and learn about the specifics of glazing. A full week of fun and learning at the potter’s wheel!

Please note: The sessions are comprised of 4 consecutive classes M-Th and a 5th class for glazing on the following Friday. Glazing sessions are scheduled every following Friday at the same appointed time.
