A Night of Soul with The SongBird Raven In The Crown

'From the age of four, Raven was inspired to sing by her older sister. A native of Sanford, NC, raised in Greensboro, she would practice singing as if it was a household chore, solidifying her abilities in school talent shows, church and school choirs, and later, local bands.

Today, she is an independent recording artist performing under the name SongBird Raven, has been nominated for several awards, has also won several singing competitions, and accomplished much in her young career. She doesn’t believe in boxing herself in, so Raven’s music encompasses all genres, allowing her unique voice to captivate, inspire, and take listeners on a musical journey.

The SongBird Raven is known for performing live with her band SBB, and she had the pleasure of performing with Shelby J. of Prince fame in a sold-out performance in The Crown at the Carolina in 2022. Her two albums, The Soul of Music (2015) and Elements (2018) are complemented by her 2020 single, “Don’t Do It,” and a host of others, available for download on all digital platforms.
